Reverse Genetic Screening

This cover design illustrates the findings of the research article “Parallel reverse genetic screening in mutant human cells using transcriptomics” by Bianca Gapp, Tomasz Konopka, Sebastian Nijman and colleagues. Shallow transcriptomic profiling was applied to uncover genotype-phenotype connections in 64 knockout cell lines across 10 stimuli. This study provides proof of concept for transcriptome-based reverse genetic screens in human cells.
