G-protein coupling

Illuminating G-protein Coupling

This cover candidate for the Russel lab at Bioquant, University of Heidelberg, Germany is shooting for a “Dark Side of the Moon” vibe.
They created a method to assess G-protein coupling to G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) experimentally, which they have then coded into a predictive and design algorithm for recoding coupling.
They asked me to have ligand binding and coupling represented a prism (which would be the method) that then leads to the spectrum of G-proteins that a receptor binds to.

Publication: Illuminating G-protein-coupling Selectivity of GPCRs.
